Hello Vishnu,
For doing Forestry Management first you would have to go for B.Sc. in Forestry. The eligibility for B.Sc. in Forestry is as follows -
- 10+2 in the Science stream, completed from a recognized educational Board.
- A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
- Candidates appearing in their final 10+2 exams are also eligible to apply for the course on a provisional basis.
Most institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission.
A few institutes also provide direct admission based on the candidate’s score at the 10+2 level.
If you qualify for All India Entrance Exam of ICAR then you will be eligible for admission to agricultural universities that offer forestry courses.
The top colleges for this course are -
- Sai Institute of Paramedical and Allied Sciences
- BFIT Group of Institutions
- Integral University
- Uttaranchal PG College of Biomedical Sciences and Hospital
- Doon College of Agriculture Science and Technology
Hope this helps.
