did any MBBS student wrote IAS exam and became IAS officer?

Hello Gireeshma,

Of course, MBBS students can apply for the IAS exam.

Here are some eligibility criteria which you need to fulfil:

* Candidates must have a graduation degree.

* The age of candidates must lie between 21to 30 years. For SC and ST category 5 years and for OBC category 3 years of relaxation is provided.

* Attempts, 4 times for the general category 7 times for OBC and there are no limits to apply for the SC and SC category.

Yes ofcourse there are lot of MBBS students who have cracked UPSC and went on to become IAS.It is defenetly possible.One of the famous ones among them are Roman Saini who is the founder of Unacademy. So, if you have the desire you can defenetly do it.
