B. Architecture primarily teaches you the art of designing houses, skyscrapers, office spaces, shopping centres, malls and hotels. The course not only imparts knowledge about designing structures but also teaches you the concept of planning. If you want to know about the placement in Governmnet sectors then various undertakings of Central Government placed the students. Some of the areas in the Central Government that recruits B.Arch pass outs include the following.
Department of Railways
Architecture and Building Development Firms
Department of Post and Telegraph
National Building Organization

Hello aspirant,
It depends on which college or university you are studying in. While nowadays most universities are having some form of placements, they are still in their infancy and hardly two or three companies will come looking for candidates. In most cases, these companies will be Project Management companies such as L&T or large scale developers such as Sobha builders.
As a fresher, it may not always be a good idea to join such large scale offices because you might miss out on learning the basics of architecture and construction.
In any case, make sure you are understanding the kind of job profile these companies offer before signing up for any kind of campus placements.
