Dear Sachin, unlike the popular notion that after MBBS, its either MS or MD there are multiple options that have scope. UPSC conducts Combined Medical services Examination every year for recruitment into government positions like Railways, Muncipal Corporations as Medical Officers. Surprisingly therr are students who have finished MBBS and are pursuing MBA. Health care projects and Pharmaceutical companies can take credit for that. FMS Delhi, IIM's, IBS Hyderabad, MDI Gurgaon, XLRI Jamshedpur conduct admissions for students based on merit list in CAT exam. Clinical research is another field where there is increased demand for MBBS doctors. ICMR, CIMAP, CCMB hire MBBS graduates for their Clinical research teams. AIIMS, NIMHANS, PGI, TIFR offer courses in this field. MHA is a 3 year Masters program in Health Administration ideally for pursuing Management of Big Hospitals, Clinics, Insurance Companies, etc. Then there is M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Biological Sciences. There are other Masters programmes such as MMST, MPH, etc.
