Hello aspirant,

The basic difference between both is that BSc Economics is more math-oriented with statistics included at advanced level,it is also more inclined towards a combination with science based subjects while in case of BA Economics there are different subjects including language, humanities etc dealing with more theoretical concepts. Basically Bsc is more practical than BA.

But it is totally upto you based on your interest and based on what subjects you had in your 10+2.

Some colleges offering Bsc economics are

  • St. Stephen's College, New Delhi
  • Indian School of Business & Finance
  • Presidency College, Kolkata
  • St. Xavier's College, Kolkata
  • Indian Institute of Management and Commerce

Some colleges offering BA economics are

  • Lady Shree Ram College for Woman, New Delhi
  • Loyola College, Chennai
  • St. Stephen's College, New Delhi
  • St. Xavier's College, Mumbai
  • Christ University, Bangalore

I hope this information helps you.
