difference between ba hospitality management and bachelor of hotel management
Hi, There is no difference between Hotel Management and Hospitality Management. The only thing is now a days universities give different names to the courses. For Eg. Bsc in Hospitality Studies, BA in Hospitality studies and Tourism Management, BA in culinary arts.
When you go for Hotel management you need to study the major sectors of Hospitality or Hotel Industry. The four Major pillars are : Front Office, Housekeeping, Food Production, Food and Beverage services. When you collectively study all these major department we called it as Hospitality Management or Hotel Management.
Now Universities form their courses as per the demand. Like many aspirants wants to make career particulary in chef so some colleges offer specific course in Food and Beverage service that they refer as culinary arts but opting for these options one can make career only in kitchen department of Hotel Industry as they are masters of cooking.
On the other side if you are looking to exapand the career sectors for yourself then it's suggested that you should make career in Hospitality courses where you get to learn every aspects of Hotel Industry.
