difference between BBA MBA and BBA+MBA integrated course
Greetings, aspirant!
BBA is a 3 year UG degree which involves course curriculum focused in equipping students with skills required to manage the various aspects of a business organisation. MBA is much like a PG, higher study of BBA.
BBA+MBA is an integrated course that combines both of the aforementioned courses into a 5 year long course.
The difference between these two, on an educational level, is almost negligible as both of these impart the same knowledge on students. Key differences include things like:-
- A BBA+MBA candidate only needs to appear for a single entrance exam whereas a candidate pursuing these degrees separately might have to appear for a different entrance exam for BBA and a different exam for MBA.
- The fee structure for integrated courses is generally higher than pursuing separate degrees. Although in some cases, certain MBA schools charge very high fees for the PG degrees itself.
- For students that wish to get work experience before pursing their master's degree, the Integrated course might not be an option as it gives a candidate no time between the courses to work a job.
- Moreover, when pursuing an integrated course, it's not possible to change your Institute. A BBA degree holder, on the other hand, can go for a premier institute for their MBA.
These are some of the key differences between the two courses. You can choose the one that suits your needs better.
Hope this information helps
Best of luck!!
