Hi Anurag,
Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) have more or less same scope. But the purview of BHMCT has better preference and far reach over BHM. Both the degrees introduce students to the fundamentals and different facets of the hospitality domain. After completion of the course, they get familiar with the practical aspects of the industry as well as strategic management issues that are involved in operating Indian and international properties. BHM is more inclined towards hotel properties, whereas BHMCT is its extension that includes catering as well.
As far as job in airlines or cruises is concerned, the recruiters consider both- BMH as well as BHMCT. The areas of study in both the programmes is more or less same. You can apply to the jobs after doing either BHM or BHMCT.
