Hey there!
I layman terms, the basic difference between B.Sc. and B.Sc. (hons) is that, in B.Sc, (hons) you are awarded the qualification of majoring in just one subject. While, in simple B.Sc. you may have studied more than one subjects equivalent to your major.
B.Sc. (hons) degree definitely adds more value and hence is considered an extraordinary degree. Additionally, their subjects are heavier in terms of curriculum.
Also, there may be a project work and hence a dissertation added to your curriculum while you pursue B.Sc. (hons), which is normally absent in simple B.Sc.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
