First of all, If you compare the two courses, competition for MBBS seats is way higher than BSC. MBBS is a 5 years course dealing with clinical medicine which includes building professionalism for the whole human body and curing the patients lively. BSC are in different courses and you don't get the same opportunities of treating patients as much as MBBS guys do get... It's a 3 years course.. Wherein you are taught about some important chemistry, protein theory and such things as well.

Bsc in medical Science teaches you some part of zoology, proteins, drugs and medicines. If you want to learn about proper medical science and it's knowledge, MBBS is the only course and probably the best one available since only MBBS students are allowed to TREAT PATIENTS.

Best Wishes. Thank-you.
