CDS stands for Combined Defence Services and it is an examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the Graduate Level students to get into Indian army as a officer. And when you clear the examination you are called for SSB which stands for Services Selection Board. Basically it is an interview oriented examination where the officers test your qualities rather than your knowledge.
Now when you clear it then you will go into a medical test and after that the final merit list came and thereafter you will be able to attend the academies.
I hope it helps you!
Thank you!
