Difference between FPM and Ph.D? Want to make career in Academic Line, Having PGDM from AICTE approved college and it's not affiliated from AIU. I suppose I am not eligible for NET/ JRF or Ph.D. Can a FPM programme help me out of this or do I have to go for M.phil from any private college?
Hello there,
While IIMs, XLRI, ISB and other stand-alone institutes offer a fellow programme in management ( FPM ), universities and the IITs and NITs offer a ' PhD ' in management. The difference between a PhD and FPM is similar to the distinction between an MBA and PGDM.
This is the eligibility criteria The applicants must have completed master's degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc., from UGC -recognised universities/institutions.
Thank you.
Do I will get the same opportunities what a Ph.D holder is getting at the same platform( in the same institute / college as a professor) ?
Or Do I have to complete Ph.D after FPM Programme to be a professor of any college?
Or Should I go for M.Phil as I have a PGDM from an AICTE approved college (which is not accredited from AIU)?
WHAT SHOULD I DO????
