JEE Main and JEE Advanced both are national level entrance examinations. They are held for getting admission in the engineering colleges in India. JEE Main is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . Forr the candidates who are thinking about admission in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs as well as other engineering and technology, institutes are run by the state governments and private institutions.Both (JEE Main and JEE Advanced) these exams are interconnected.
