Hello,

Safety engineering is the process of designing workplaces to prevent accidents. Engineering Safety Concepts provides detailed approaches and modes for accident reduction by using a risk management process to identify and "design out" hazards. Accidents can and do happen.

While safety managers are the ones that enforce the day to day safety practices, training, and prevention efforts, safety engineers are the ones that design the systems, technology, environments, and processes that allow safety managers to do their jobs effectively.

Thank you.
