It shows the college readiness of a candidate.IELTS scores are used as a benchmark for employment as well as higher education by world-wide corporates as well as universities in the countries UK, USA, Ireland, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. In the US, more than 3000 universities consider IELTS scores for higher education admissions.SAT is an aptitude test which measures four different skillsets- mathematic skill (separately with using calculators as well as without using it), English grammar, and reading & writing proficiency. IELTS is a mandatory test if you are planning to migrate to a country for employment or studies. If you are migrating to work abroad, IELTS is sufficient. But, migrating students who have cleared the SAT also need to have IELTS scores to prove their English language proficiency.
