Hello aspirant!!

First round cutoff rank will be low and second rank cutoff rank will be high. That means one can get good colleges in their second counselling.

Best of Luck!!

Dear aspirant,

In the first round seats are alloted based on merit the same happens in second round but there's a catch the top students usually perform well in JEE and as soon as they get their choice of seat in an NIT/IIT or any other higher institute than that they got in comedk round1 before the deadline, they withdraw their registration from comedk. They leave vacant seats, what the administration does is recalls candidates who haven't selected their seat and offeres them these vacant seats merit wise basically reshuffling. So my advice is to take the seat in round one but try better in round 2.
