Hey,
The major difference between the government and private education institutions is that in government college there is direct control of government over the management of the college whereas it is solely private management. However there is Public Private model in some colleges. The government colleges gets grants directly from the government wheras the private colleges have their own spurces of income that's why fees are higher in private colleges. Both the government and private colleges are affiliated to certain universities (usually public) and there is no difference between the course curriculum and degree value. The major difference between Government college and private college is the variation in their fee structure. The fee structure in private college is high compared to government colleges as they need to spend their own income for the development activities of the students such as arranging for placement activities, conducting events etc. The government colleges are run directly by the state government and hence less in fees. Though there is huge variation in fee structure, both government and private colleges deal with the same portions for all the departments as per the syllabus affiliated to different universities. The private colleges are owned by the private organizations and are funded through the tuition and donations. For some of the private colleges which do not have accreditation, the degrees given by those institutions are not recognized. The degree certificate issued by the private colleges are also valid in job side as they are ISO certified institutions running partly by the government sector. The government job opportunity lies in your hard work that you give to achieve them. Many people from private colleges also work in government projects by their intellectual efforts. Some government colleges provide scholarships to the candidates on the basis of performance. The job prospects after both are same.
