Hello,
Vane pumps are mostly positive displacement pumps and they have vanes mounted on rotor which rotates inside a cavity, where as radial piston pump are used at high hydraulic pressure and compact size requirement. They are used in metal forming and stamping, oil field equipment
Vane pumps are used in injection molding machines, road construction machines.
