difference Btech cse ,BE cse , diploma cse and BCA cse , eligibility criteria, which course is the best in terms of good future ? please reply
Hi,
Btech in CSE,: It's a 4 year course which has a more subject concentration and will be focused more on the practical knowledge.
BE CSE : There is no difference in BE and BTec in terms of scope or career. The only difference is that Be is more theoretically oriented.
BTech is offered in IITs and Nits whereas BE is offered by all other colleges and universities.
BCA CSE is a 3 year degree program and the subject concentration will be a little less than BTech CSE.
Diploma in polytechnic is a 2 year program that will offered by most of the polytechnic colleges
In terms of eligibility,
BTec
Qualify 10+2 with minimum 55%. Physics, Mathematics and English are mandatory. Admission is based on entrance exams like JEE.
BE CSE
Qualify 10+2 with minimum 55%. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are mandatory. Candidates have to clear state level entrance exam with minimum 50-60% or JEE ADVANCED /MAIN with minimum 75%
BCA
Minimum 50% marks in any relevant stream with English as a compulsory subject. Admissions are either entrance or merit based.
DIPLOMA
Candidates should clear class 10 or equivalent. Admissions are merit based.
As of today it will be best to go for BTEC OR BE which will have more opportunity in the future. Bca is also a good choice but then you'll have to do a masters. I will not suggest you to go for a diploma.
Apart from BTech and BE which are comparable courses, with minor change in the college/university structure and curriculum, Diploma CSE is a Pre-Engineering or Diploma course you may enroll while Bachelor of Computer Applications is a preliminart course, which if followed by MCA, would result in strong career scope and job prospects. As of now BTech/BE CSE have a Huge scope, and you may join either of them depending on the University.
