Hi there Kartik!
--B.Tech is Bachelor of Technology and B.E. is Bachelor of Engineering.
--B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive than the BE course which is more theoretical. This quite a minor difference, but just mentioned this for your information.
However, both the degrees have equal recognition and scope. Your branch and college will make all the difference.
The colleges like IITs, NITs offer a B.Tech. degree whereas, colleges like Netaji Subash Institute of Technolofy (NSIT), Anna University- Chennai offer a degree in B.E. These are the main points you must know about the two. Here's a website, that answers a frequently asked questions about this topic : https://www.jagranjosh.com/articles/what-is-the-difference-between-b-e-and-b-tech-1444821778-1
Hope this was useful!
Essentially, there is no difference between a B.Tech and a BE in terms of course curriculum, standards and job prospects, in India , especially in private universities. In public universities, an hours might sometimes imply 75% above. However, if the course is named a BE(Hons) program, then there is no difference between the two, and the Honours is just a namesake
