Difference b/w MBA/ CFA/ CMA .
hi,
Chartered Financial analyst is the certification provided by CFA® Institute. .CFA is a designation for finance and investment professionals — those working in equity research, asset management, hedge funds and other types of investment management... Qualifying CFA® can certainly help candidates seeking a career in finance and risk management. Students also go for CFA® post MBA or while doing MBA.
CMA or Certified Management Accountants certification is a professional credential that can be earned in the advanced management accounting and financial management fields. Practically, CMA are designed for accountants working outside of CPA firms.
MBA or Master of Business Administration program covers various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations, and statistics, in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy. It gives immense opportunities to understand business from the core.
So, in general, these courses are designed for specific and slightly different purposes and hence have little overlap. But pursuing all of these will certainly give an advantage in terms of understanding different domains, enhancing relevance in industry, and climbing corporate ladder with high pace which will definitely result in great packages.
