difference in between food technology in engineering and food technology in agriculture
Dear aspirant,
Food technology in engineering is a branch of food science that deals with the production processes that make foods. Early scientific research into food technology concentrated on food preservation.
agricultural food technology or agri-tech, is specifically about developing new technologies to expand food production. A main focus of agri-tech is reducing the impact of farming on the environment, but it can also increase productivity, profit, or health and safety. ... Creation of new food and drink productions.
Hope this helps you out
Hello Vishal
Both has it's importance.
B Tech in Food Technology has a better overall prospect as even without a master course you can enter into the indusry/job market wheresas B. Sc (Ag) graduates generally need M. Sc. (Ag) for higher positions.
Both the graduates may take any competition for which the minimum prescribed qualification is graduation in any discipline. So for administrative/bank/railway both have equal prospects. An agriculture graduate has, however, an advantage for some posts in bank especially Agriculture Officer or Extension Officer.
