The main difference between government polytechnic and private polytechnic is fee structure(comparatively fees of government polytechnic is much less than that of private polytechnic) otherwise course structure and syllabus remains the same.

See, if you get government college, it's great but you can pursue your polytechnic course in private college as long as it's recognized by board of technical education of the state. And, if you're really worried about job prospects in future, then  just check out the placements scenarios in the college you're seeking admission, it'll help you a lot in knowing how the recruitment process will be in future.
