Hi,
I hope you are doing good.
Difference between a resume and a portfolio are given below:
resume is a structured story of your career. It includes a history of your professional employment in reverse chronological order, plus a list of your academic degrees. If appropriate, it includes a bibliography of your publications, a list of honors you have received, and a list of professional associations in which you participate.
A portfolio is a selection of your prior work made with an eye toward attracting patronage. The word portfolio is mostly used in the context of the creative arts, whereas the word resume is used in commercial employment contexts. In academia the document is even more highly structured and standardized and is called a curriculum vitae.
I hope this information will be useful for you.
All the best.

Portfolio Typically multiple pages long and resume is typically one page long.
Portfolio Not always required for job applications whereas resume Usually required by employers to apply for a job.
Portfolio is usually presented in a professional and in depth showcasing of your experience & skill. Portfolio are much more detailed than resume and require a larger time investment to create while A resume tells people what you do line by line. It shows work experience, education & skill.
