difficulty level or VITEEE as compared to jee main? and format of VITEEE , syllabus

the VITEEE exam pattern 2020 is as follows

1. exam will be conducted in online mode (computer based test)

2. duration of this exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes

3. there will be multiple choice questions

4. question paper will be divided into 5 sections

physics - 35 questions will be asked

chemistry- 35 questions will be asked

mathematics/biology - 40 questions will be asked

english - 5 questions will be asked

aptitude - 10 questions will be asked

5. total number of questions will be 125

6. question paper will be of 125 marks

7. for each correct answer one mark will be awarded and there will be no negative marking

syllabus is as follows

in physics - current electricity, dual nature of radiation and atomic physics, optics, properties of matter, electrostatics, electromagnetic induction and alternating current, law of motion work energy and power, magnetic effects of electric current, nuclear physics,semiconductor devices and their applications.

in chemistry - carboxylic acids and their derivatives, isomerism in organic compounds, P block elements D&F block element, carbonyl compound coordination chemistry and solid state chemistry, electrochemistry, atomic structure, organic nitrogen compounds biomolecules, thermodynamics chemical equilibrium and chemical kinetics, alcohols and ethers

in mathematics- vector algebra, integral calculus and its applications, probability distributions,trigonometry and complex numbers, analytical geometry of 2 dimension, discrete mathematics, differential calculus matrices and their applications, differential equation,analytical geometry of 3 dimension

for aptitude - to data interpretation, data sufficiency,syllogism, number series coding and decoding, clocks ,calendars and  directions

VITEEE is the all India level exam for admission to Vellore Institute of Technology, which is one of the top private engineering institutions, whereas JEE Main is the eligibility exam to many colleges and NITs and then followed by Advanced, leads to admission to IITs.

Thus, VITEEE is comparatively easier than JEE Main, but requires hard work and deep knowledge to be cracked.

VITEEE is not Tougher than JEE mains. JEE mains is an engineering exam taken by maximum number of engineering aspirants and also the question standards are higher than VITEEE. VITEEE has 125 questions and has english and aptitude section too but the weightage is low major part is PCM. The syllabus is almost same as that of JEE mains for PCM.
