Yes.. Diploma Students who have Studied electrical and Electronics engineering are eligible to study B.Tech with Computer science .
Eligibility for pursuing B.Tech after diploma:
- Through lateral Entry
- Must obtain min 45% marks in Diploma
- Should clear the cut off for Lateral Entry exams
Some of the well known lateral entry exam name is : AP ECET, EBJEE JELET etc.

No, you are not qualified to seek a BTech Computer Science Engineering course after the culmination of your three years Diploma course in Electrical Engineering. To be qualified to seek after BTech Computer Science Engineering course, you probably finished twelfth norm with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects or three years Diploma in Computer Science Engineering course from a perceived board. Thus, being an Electrical Engineering Diploma holder, you are not qualified to seek the BTech Computer Science Engineering course.

Yes, you can study B.E/ B.Tech Computer Science Engineering branch though you have completed Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch.
You must have passed Diploma in Engineering in any branch from a recognised College or University.
Admission into Lateral Entry admission into B.E/ B.Tech 2 nd year based on entrance exam or merit obtained in qualifying exam.
In Some States like Telangana TS ECET is conducted for admission into B.E/ B.Tech Lateral Entry courses.
