Diploma in hotel management is a 3 year course divided in six semester contains the management of hotel administration, accounts, advertising, housekeeping, front office or front office, food and beverage management, catering, and upkeep.

Eligibility criteria for admission in diploma in hotel management are

1. Must qualify intermediate with minimum of 50% with any subject / stream from a recognised university
2. Minimum age is 17 years or above.

For getting admission to many prestigious college you need to clear an entrance exam to get a seat.

Some of the entrance exams are

1. All India Management Association (AIMA)
2. Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (AIHMCT)
3. Bharati Vidyapeeth University (BVP CET)
4. Jain University (JET Entrance Test)

Some of the profiles in which you can get employment are Assistant General Manager, Front Office Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hotel Manager, Bar Manager, Maintenance Manager and Guest Relations Executive.
