The eligibility criteria for NATA has been released and it states the following:
Academic Qualification
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 level or equivalent from a recognized board.
Marks Required
- Candidates should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics.
- Candidates who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate will also be eligible.
therefore, diploma students are eligible for the exam if they fulfill this requirement.

Yes, candidates who have passed 3 year diploma after class 10 are also eligible to appear in NATA. Candidate must have passed Diploma with Mathematics as compulsory subject with atleast 50% aggregate from a recognised board or university.
So, if you have 50% aggregate in diploma you are eligible to appear.
