Solution : We know that, (N x T) ÷ W = Constant, where N = number of people doing the work, W = amount of work done, and T = time taken to finish the work.
It is given that 4 cats can kill 4 rats in 4 minutes and we need to find the time taken for 8 cats to kill 8 rats.
⇒ (4 x 4) ÷ 4 = (8 x T) ÷ 8
⇒ T = 4
So, 8 cats can kill 8 rats in 4 minutes.
