Inferences :

I. No rod is flexible.

II. Some pods are flexible.

Option 1: Neither of them follows.

Option 2: Only inference I follows.

Option 3: Both of them follow.

Option 4: Only inference II follows.

Correct Answer: Neither of them follows.


Solution : Conclusion I: No rod is flexible.
In the given statements, it has not been mentioned whether the rod is flexible or not. Hence, its incorrect.

Conclusion II: Some pods are flexible.
It has been clearly mentioned in the given statements that no rods are flexible. Hence, it's incorrect.

Therefore, from the above we can say that neither of them follows.

Hence, option first is correct.
