Correct Answer: 13.17


Solution : Based on the bar graph provided,
Total number of accidents = 25 + 19 + 30 + 43 + 35 + 27 = 179
Number of months = 6
Average number of accidents = $\frac{\text{The total number of accidents}}{\text{Number of months}}=\frac{179}{6}=29.83$
Number of accidents in April = 43
So, the required difference = 43 – 29.83 = 13.17
Hence, the correct answer is 13.17.
