Statements:
(I) C sits to the immediate left of A; only one person sits between C and D.
(II) Only one person sits between A and B; C sits to the immediate right of B.

Option 1: Data in statement I alone is sufficient to answer the question while data in statement II is not

Option 2: Data in either statement I alone or statement II alone is sufficient to answer the question

Option 3: Data in statements I and II together is sufficient to answer the question

Solution : Given:
(I) C sits to the immediate left of A; only one person sits between C and D.
(II) Only one person sits between A and B; C sits to the immediate right of B.

From the final seating arrangement, we can say that D is the immediate right of A, so both individually are sufficient.

Hence, the second option is correct.
