Inference:
I. Many Students are not paying attention to their studies due to mobile games – This inference is correct according to the given statement as not paying attention to studies will result in poor academic performance.
II. It is only because of mobile games that students fail the examination – Only mobile games don't need to cause distraction in studies. So, this is incorrect.

So, only the first inference follows. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
