Solution : Given:
Interchange the 4 and 6
I. 8 – 4 × 3 + 6 ÷ 2
II. 4 + 3 × 6 – 8 ÷ 2


I. 8 – 4 × 3 + 6 ÷ 2
After interchanging 4 and 6 in the equation, the equation becomes –
= 8 – 6 × 3 + 4 ÷ 2
= 8 – 6 × 3 + 2
= 8 – 18 + 2
= 8 – 16
= – 8
II. 4 + 3 × 6 – 8 ÷ 2
After interchanging 4 and 6 in the equation, the equation becomes –
= 4 + 3 × 6 – 8 ÷ 2
= 6 + 3 × 4 – 4
= 6 + 12 – 4
= 18 – 4
= 14

So, the equations equal to – 8 and 14. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
