Correct Answer: 8 and 12
Solution : Equation I. 3 + 6 – 8 × 4 ÷ 2 On interchanging the numbers, we get – = 3 + 6 – 2 × 4 ÷ 8 = 3 + 6 – 2 × 0.5 = 3 + 6 – 1 = 9 – 1 = 8 Equation II. 12 ÷ 6 × 9 – 2 + 8 On interchanging the numbers, we get – = 12 ÷ 6 × 9 – 8 + 2 = 2 × 9 – 8 + 2 = 18 – 8 + 2 = 20 – 8 = 12
So, the values are 8 and 12. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
