Correct Answer: Only I

Solution : Given:
I. 4 × 3 – 7 + 8 ÷ 2 = 23
II. 7 × 5 – 9 ÷ 3 + 4 = 24

After interchanging the numbers 7 and 4 the equations become –
I. 7 × 3 – 4 + 8 ÷ 2 = 23
= 21 – 4 + 4
= 21 ≠ 23
II. 4 × 5 – 9 ÷ 3 + 7 = 24
= 20 – 3 + 7
= 24

So, in equation I, L.H.S. ≠ R.H.S. Hence, the third option is correct.
