Correct Answer: Both I and II

Solution : Given:
I. 143 + 6 × 18 ÷ 45 – 3 = 236
II. 133 – 7 + 16 × 11 ÷ 37 = 158

Equation I. 143 + 6 × 18 ÷ 45 – 3 = 236
On interchanging the mathematical signs, we get –
= 143 + 6 × 18 – 45 ÷ 3
= 143 + 6 × 18 – 15
= 143 + 108 – 15
= 236
Equation II. 133 – 7 + 16 × 11 ÷ 37 = 158
On interchanging the mathematical signs, we get –
= 133 ÷ 7 + 16 × 11 – 37
= 19 + 16 × 11 – 37
= 19 + 176 – 37
= 158

So, both I and II are correct. Hence, the first option is correct.
