Correct Answer: Only II

Solution : Given:
l. 180 – 32 + 3 × 148 ÷ 37 = 88
II. 204 ÷ 17 × 23 + 5 – 97 = 50

Equation I: 180 – 32 × 3 + 148 ÷ 37 = 88
On solving the L.H.S. of the equation –
= 180 – 32 × 3 + 148 ÷ 37
= 180 – 32 × 3 + 4
= 180 – 96 + 4
= 88
Equation II: 204 ÷ 17 + 23 × 5 – 97 = 50
On solving the L.H.S. of the equation –
= 204 ÷ 17 + 23 × 5 – 97
= 12 + 23 × 5 – 97
= 12 + 115 – 97
= 30 ≠ 50

So, the equation II is incorrect. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
