Solution : The possible Venn diagram according to the given statements is as follows –

Let's analyse the conclusions –
Conclusion (I): Some books are poems – From the Venn diagram , it is evident that there is no direct relation between the books and poems. So, no definite relation can be drawn between them. Therefore, this conclusion does not follow.
Conclusion (II): Some poems are novels – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that the two circles representing poems and novels overlap each other and have a part of their area in common. So, from this, it can be concluded that some poems are novels. Therefore, this conclusion follows.

So, only conclusion II follows. Hence, the second option is correct.
