Solution : The possible Venn diagram according to the given statements is as follows –

Let's analyse the conclusions –
Conclusion I: All flies are ants – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that the circles representing flies and ants overlap and have a part of their areas in common. So, from this, it can be concluded that some flies are ants. Therefore, this conclusion does not follow.
Conclusion II: Some ants are insects – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that some parts of the circle representing ants lie outside the circle representing insects while some lie inside. So, from this, it can be concluded that some ants are insects. Therefore, this conclusion follows.

So, only the conclusion II follows. Hence, the second option is correct.
