Question : Directions: From point D, Sarita walks 50 metres to the north, then, after turning to the right, walks 50 metres. She again turned right and walked another 70 metres, and finally turned right and walked 50 metres. In which direction and at what distance is she from the starting point D?

Solution : Firstly, we will draw the diagram as per the given instructions –

Now we have to find the distance and direction between Sarita's Initial and final point.

From the above diagram, D is the initial point and F is the final point.

So, Sarita is 20 m to the South from her starting point. Hence, the third option is correct.
