The 21st of May 2009 is Thursday.
Number of days from 22nd of May 2009 to 21st of May 2017 –
365 × 8 = 2920
Add 2 days for leap years 2012 and 2016.
Number of days from 22nd of May 2017 to 15th of July 2017 –
May = 10; June = 30; July = 15; 10 + 30 + 15 = 55
Total number of days – 2920 + 2 + 55 = 2977
After dividing 2977 by 7, we get 2 as the remainder.
Thursday + 2 days = Saturday
