Solution : Given: The 22nd of September 1982 is Wednesday.
Calculate the days between the 22nd of September 1982 and the 7th of December 1991. Number of days from 23rd of September 1982 to 22nd of September 1991 = (9 × 365) + 2 = 3287 (2 days are being added as there are 2 leap years 1984 and 1988.) From 23rd of September 1991 to 7th of December 1991→September = 8, October = 31, November = 30, December = 7 ⇒ 8 + 31 + 30 + 7 = 76 Total number of days = 3287 + 76 = 3363 days On dividing 3363 by 7, we get 3, as the remainder. So, three days after Wednesday will be Saturday.
So, the 7th of December 1991 will be Saturday. Hence, the second option is correct.
