Correct Answer: 2, 4, 1, 3

Solution : Given:
1. Intervention 2. Intertwine 3. Interview 4. Intervene

Step 1: Compare the first letter of the word. Since all the letters start with the same letter I , then move on to the next letter.
Step 2: The second, third, fourth, and fifth letters of all the words are the same, i.e., n , t , e , and r . So, move on to the next letter.
Step 3: The sixth letter of each word is either v or t . Based on the alphabetical order of these letters, we can arrange them – Inter t wine, Inter v ene, Inter v ention, Inter v iew.
Step 4: Compare the seventh letter of (Interv e ne, Interv e ntion, Interv i ew). Intervene and Intervention will come before Interview in the sequence as e comes before i in alphabetical order.
Step 5: Compare the ninth letter of (Interven e , Interven t ion). Intervene will come before Intervention in the sequence as e comes t in alphabetical order.

So, the sequence is Intertwine, Intervene, Intervention, Interview, or 2, 4, 1, 3. Hence, the third option is correct.
