I. All rubber is pencil.

Correct Answer: Neither conclusion follows


Solution : The possible Venn diagram, according to the given statements is as follows –

Conclusion I: All rubber is pencil – From the Venn diagram, it can be seen that there is no direct relation between rubber and pencil. So, no relation can be drawn from it.
Conclusion II: Some pens are not pencils – From the Venn diagram, there is no definite relation between pens and pencils. So, this conclusion is incorrect.
Conclusion III: Some rubbers are not pens – From the Venn diagram, there is no definite relation between pens and rubbers. So, this conclusion is incorrect.

Therefore, neither conclusion follows according to the given statements. Hence, the first option is correct.
