Question : Directions: In the following question below are given some statements followed by some conclusions based on those statements. Taking the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Conclusions:
I. Some M is D.

Solution : The possible Venn diagram according to the given statements is as follows –


Let's analyse the conclusions –
Conclusion (I): Some M is D – According to the Venn diagram, the circle representing D is completely inside the circle representing M. So, it can be concluded that some M is D.
Conclusion (II): Some H is M – According to the Venn diagram the circles representing H and M intersect and have some common parts between them. So, it can be concluded that some H are M.
Conclusion (III): Some D is H – According to the Venn diagram the circles representing D and H intersect and have a common area between them. So, it can be concluded that some D are H.

Therefore, all the conclusions follow. Hence, the third option is correct.
