Solution : The correct choice is the third option.

The use of the adverb too is incorrect in the sentence. Here, too, should be replaced with so. Although they both have the same meaning, which is a lot , they differ in their usage. So is used for positive cases, whereas too is used for negative cases. Thus, so is a better choice for this sentence.

Therefore, the correct sentence is: "The process was so simple and easy to understand that it hardly took five minutes for us to grasp it."
