Solution : The error lies in the third part of the sentence as the correlative conjunction ' No sooner' is followed by ' Than' ,so when it began to rain should be replaced by than it began to rain.

Therefore the correct sentence should be 'No sooner had he finished his morning walk than it began to rain.'
