Correct Answer: Only conclusion I follows

Solution : According to the above-given statement,

Conclusions I: The foundation of the subject is very important for a student to perform well in examinations –  This conclusion logically follows from statement I. The low pass percentage in Political Science suggests that students without a solid foundation in the subject may struggle in exams.
Conclusions II: Political Science is a generic subject, and students can attempt it without any problem – This conclusion doesn't directly follow from the given statements. While Statement II mentions that admitted students did not study Political Science earlier, it doesn't necessarily imply that Political Science is a generic subject that students can attempt without any problem.

So, in this case, only conclusion I logically follows from the given statements. Hence, the fourth option is correct.
