First option:
(10 + 2) ÷ 7 < (10 ÷ 7) + 2
On replacing with symbols as directed, we get –
(10 ÷ 2) – 7 < (10 – 7) ÷ 2
L.H.S.→(10 ÷ 2) – 7 = 5 – 7 = – 2
R.H.S.→(10 – 7) ÷ 2 = 3 ÷ 2 = 1.5
L.H.S. < R.H.S.
Second option:
(10 – 7) × 2 < (10 × 2) – 7
On replacing with symbols as directed, we get –
(10 × 7) + 2 < (10 + 2) × 7
L.H.S.→(10 × 7) + 2 = 70 + 2 = 72
R.H.S.→(10 + 2) × 7 = 12 × 7 = 84

Third option:
